In the contemporary time,education sector has encountered multiple changes which are the outcome of assiduous efforts put in place by stakeholders. No other change is so significant as the notion of employing reflection as a means of imparting education to the students. Reflection,in itself is a complete amalgamation vital for the holistic development of a child. Reflection is a righteousness which encompasses the potency of empowering students. In bringing out the best in child and to inculcate the principles of effective understanding,reflection plays a major role.The ongoing pandemic has nearly ceased the smooth flow of education.A child is more likely to take course of rote learning in order to pass the exams with flying colors.But this rote learning can only hamper the competency as well as omnifecence of the child. Memorisation of the lessons becomes lucid if a child knows the art of reflecting back the taught topics.A teacher should dwell upon the methods by a child can master the gift of reflection.We cannot change our past but make our future better only by reflecting upon the fallacies we did in the past,and learning from them.For instance a child who scored miserably in an examination can reflect upon his mistakes and improvise the same in the next examination.Current millennium demand a separation from the hybrid teaching methods and introduction of a sobre methodology.As a part and parcel of teaching process, reflection endorses several procedures which can make learning increasingly interesting and more informative than before. By stressing upon the need of reflection in learning process a classroom becomes more lively and jubilant.Students discover their hidden potential of having a firm grasp on topics if they are exposed to the idea of reflection.
