Mahatma Gandhi - the living soul

Mankind is in 21st century. Since the time immemorial, when mankind took its origination, there have been several of threats to this ever blooming and prospering humanity. Several great personalities took birth and did their pious deeds before saying final goodbye . Among them took birth, an altruistic , who showered upon world his seraphic blessings which led to the emergence of the philosophy of 'Gandhism' . Though Mahatma Gandhi himself never propounded such doctrines , these are merely a culmination of indefatigable works put forth by his adherents.
When one will dive deeper into the the minutes of 'Gandhism' then only the meaningful and substantial understanding of the same can be sensed. Mahatma Gandhi had always laid stress upon forging a society which would be governed the least so as to become the best. The propositions of non-violence and swaraj came to him naturally as his personality was suited in the pursuit of virtual celibacy. Ram rajya (utopian society based in imagination) was the foundation of his thinking behind modern India. Virtually unfeasilble, establishment of Ram rajya is always boasted about by current astute echelons. Non violence against passive resistance, pluralism against totalitarianism, sarvodaya against aggrandisement and many more such ethics , which helped Gandhi ji resist the oppression of  colonial regime are the bedrocks of 21st century. One of the greatest scientist, ever known to world, Albert Einstein once happened to remark " Generations to come will scarce believe that such a one as this ever in flesh and blood walked upon this earth." Father of nation's eleemosynary and banality have ensured that as long as such benevolent souls would keep appearing, until then the spirits of humankind would breath.

The crisis in Sri Lanka.

Indian foreign minister Jaishankar landed in Sri Lanka on last Sunday on his two days official visit to the island nation. There he was scheduled to hold bilateral talks specifically focusing ways to eke out Sri Lanka from the ongoing economic crisis. Sri Lanka is not a newbie to crises. Uniform Civil Code - Is India all set ?

Winding up party’s electoral campaign, chief minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami made a promise what can be termed as talk of the town sort of stuff, implementing Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in the state. Since, BJP has triumphantly trampled on the anti-incumbency wave, and has become the only party to retain the power consecutively, since the inception of the state, it remains to be seen how the party would fulfill this electoral promise.  Indian constitution speaks about UCC under in Article 44 under PART-IV titled as ‘Directive Principles of State Policy’.
